SBi installed this giant size awning at the World famous london cricket ground, The Brit Oval for the test match between England & Pakistan in 2006.

The giant consrtuction company Taylor Woodrow contracted them to supply & install the awning.

A top of the range awning fully cassette with built in lighting and heating, all operated from a remote control hand sender.

Compact cassette closed around the fabric to protect the fabric when not in use.
Our awning fabrics are made from solution dyed acrylics and coated to make them water and dirt repellent. You have a choice of hundreds of colours to choose from.

SBi specialise in awkward installations as this picture shows there was no where to mount the main awning, so special brackets where made and the awning was fixed to them, we love a challenge.

As shown here we have a an 8 metre wide awning which is built in two halves and joined on site. When the awning exceeds 6.5 metres wide you have four folding arms rather than two.

A top of the range Opal Design Lux a truly beautiful awning with a small compact cassette and a sided blind for privacy and wind breaker for added comfort.

Our client required 2 x 7 metres wide x 4 metres in projection awnings to cover the patio.

The K2000 full cassette awning has a very strong front rail to enable it be made in one length up to 7 metres wide and there after coupled together for larger widths.

Here you can see the classical profile of the awning closed in a smart 20cm x 20cm cassette housing. This model of awning is used both for the domestic and commercial markets.

Sbi installed this awning on a penthouse in Knightsbridge, London. Due to the height we specified the compact but very strong Cassita with a sun & wind sensor, lights & heating.

The Cassita is so compact when closed a true feet of engineering has gone in to use all the space to its maximum potential.

The Cassita looks very smart with the frame work powder coated in brown, to match in with the window frames. The plain green cover is easy on the eye and gives our client a tranquil space to relax in.

So what is so special about this awning?
It has a built in drop valance that can roll down to floor, giving maximum shade or privacy.

What a clever awning, the drop valance is available on a selection of different awnings.

Now you can see how it is done, a detachable winding handle is inserted in to the eye and a tubular gearing system lowers the valance as you turn the handle.

Shown here is the Topas in the closed position with special brackets to give the required height. Also the client required a lighting bar to illuminate the deck area at night.

The Topas is an entry level German awning it can have an optional top and cheeks (weather board) to protect the cover when retracted, here it shows the optional lighting bar.

Do you not have enough space to have a conventional awning installed?
How about a Mini Max only 2.01 metres wide and you could have up to 4 metres projection, now that's clever.

SBi installed this Drop Arm awning with top fixing brackets. The operation of tis awning is cranked in or out or it could be operated via a remote control system as an optional extra.

Drop arm awnings are extremely stable in windy conditions due to the way they are configured, keep the rain or sun at bay.

A small patio area benefits from a sheltered area to sit and relax. The client required an extra feature so we added decorative bracing either side of the supports.

SBI can make to measure a stunning range of conservatory blinds. The latest innovations in window blinds are the Perfect Fit system that simply clips on to your window - no more drilling! Perfect Fit Venetians.

Perfect Fit Venetian blinds enable you regulate how much light you want in your conservatory, by simply twisting a wand they open or close. You can also pull the blind up for maximum visibility when you want an unobstructed view.

Here we see Perfect Fit 20mm pleated window and door blinds. The blinds are clipped on to the doors and windows using a very clever bracket that slides between the glass and the frame. When you open the door or window your blind moves with it.

To open the pleated blinds you simply lift or lower the blinds via a discreet handle. The blinds are effortlessly open or closed.

SBI have been successfully installing pleated blinds in conservatories for over 10 years. Our trained designers can advise you on colour schemes to complement your decor.

One of the many advantages of installing the blinds directly on to the doors and windows are the blinds will not blow around if the doors are left open. Free hanging blinds tend to get damaged with either children or pets running through them.

All of the window and doors are dressed individually, so you can choose what you want open or closed.

When the blinds are closed you get a nice neat and uniformed look. Because Venetian blinds are made from aluminium they act like a virtual black out blind giving good levels of privacy.

This picture shows 25mm Perfect Fit Venetian blinds on the doors with 20mm Perfect Fit pleated roof blinds, a great way to cut down on the heat and glare.

SBI also fit a wide range of Perfect Fit roller blinds. As you can see the roller fits neatly behind the cassette housing to give a tailored finish to the blind.

If you have long runs of windows in your conservatory SBI can install a range of vertical blinds. You can choose from translucent, solar reflective or black out fabrics.

SBI can provide you with Natural Weaves that look absolutely stunning in any conservatory.

Weaves finished in white other colours and styles of weaves are available to suit your conservatory.

Weaves can be used for both the roof and windows; they gently filter the light to give a pleasing dappled effect.

The weaves come in different thickness and a choice of coloured braids to add that personal touch.

If you decide that you want to keep out the heat and give good levels of privacy, choose a tightly woven blind as this example demonstrates.

SBi supply and install a vast range of purpose made carports - among the most popular are the cantilever models.

Cantilever canopies are manufactured in different widths and projections - the biggest advantage is there is no need for legs or posts.

You have a choice of differnet colour beams, the roofing sections are translucent and enable light to come through the roofing sheets.

Add a heater to your new carport and when you are washing the car on a cold day turn on the 1.5kW heater for instant heat.

Cantilever carports can have rain water goods attached to them to carry away rain water. They also help to keep the frost and snow off the car.

Cantilever canopy has been covered with timber to match the timber facia on the bungalow. Special fixing brackets give the carport the required height.

SBI installed this free standing carport for a client that required a shelter for her car. Part of the service offered was to remove an old garage and clear the site.

This picture shows the wall plate installed under the eaves of the property. If you have less space we can install on to the facia to gain height.

The roof section can be made of glass but in most cases it is made from ploycarbonate. You have a choice of either clear, bronze or as in the picture opal.

SBI will do all the necessary ground work, from site clearance, digging out any holes for the posts, concreting and removal of waste.

SBI can install rain water goods to your new carport to carry away any excess rain water. We can supply you with a water butt if require and connect to it.

You have a choice of different colour metal work and glazing bars. The standard colour is white or brown on our lean to systems. However we have the capability to provide you with any RAL colour for a surcharge.
